Supplemented with artefacts such as school building models, school emblems, school furnishings, textbooks, teaching aids, student handbooks and reports, academic publications as well as a rich collection of photographs, the exhibition attempts to introduce the history of education in Hong Kong prior to its inception up to the present development. It reveals how the relationship between political changes, socio-economic growth and culture influences the local education. Besides, the exhibition also displays the winning entries of the Inter–school Competition of Study Projects on the history of local education. Exhibits include written study reports, photographs, relevant artefacts and slide presentation.
