1/F Main Lobby, Hong Kong Museum of History

Hong Kong has encountered an unprecedented crisis in the spring of 2003 with the spread of Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) over the territory. By organizing a community-wide project – "Learning from SARS and Beyond" project, the Hong Kong Institute of Education aims to encourage students to present, in their preferred modes of expression, what they have learnt, and to reflect upon this critical and historical moment, thus transforming the SARS crisis into an opportunity for developing new learning horizons.
With the support of the Hong Kong Museum of History and the Hong Kong Education City Ltd., outstanding works from both the ‘Individual Work' and ‘Group Projects' categories will be displayed at the Museum's Main Lobby and uploaded onto the HKedCity website. Students are thus empowered as active eye-witnesses and ‘reporters' of history in the making.
