Radio Television Hong Kong (RTHK, formerly known as "GOW") launched is debut radio broadcasts in 1928, starting the development of broadcasting industry in Hong Kong. This year RTHK marks its 75 years of broadcasting in Hong Kong. To enable the public to acquire a better understanding of the development of the local broadcasting industry, the Museum of History and RTHK jointly present this exhibition. It features a rich collection of artifacts from the Museum, RTHK and other local broadcasting institutions, including used equipment for broadcasting, rare album covers and newspaper clippings, historical photos, and other related publicity and memorial materials. One may find interested in listening to and viewing the classic radio and television episodes in the exhibition.
