Gallery 6: Hong Kong’s Joint Resistance

 

Following the September 18th Incident in 1931, Hong Kong and the Mainland faced Japanese aggression together. After the fall of Hong Kong in 1941, the people endured severe hardship while anti-Japanese guerrillas, led by the Communist Party of China, carried out rescue, intelligence and resistance work that contributed to the broader anti-fascist war.
