Welcome to the ‘Hong Kong Story’ — a journey through time spanning six millennia! Showcasing over 2,800 precious exhibits, this exhibition guides you through four core chapters. The journey begins with the profound heritage of ancient civilisation from the Chinese Mainland, transitions to the pivotal convergence of East and West, and explores the war-torn years spent in solidarity with the motherland. Finally, you will discover how Hong Kong, driven by an indomitable spirit of perseverance, transformed from a historic gateway into a world-renowned international metropolis, culminating in the glorious chapter of its return to the motherland. Through immersive historical settings, the exhibition vividly brings to life the resilience of the Hong Kong people and their deep-rooted ties with the motherland. We cordially invite you to explore the inspiring legend of this city!
