Museum Reopening Arrangements
The Hong Kong Museum of History is re-opened now and implements admission quota and special precautionary measures to help ensure public safety. All visitors will be requested to bring and wear a mask to protect themselves and others. Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Special opening hours are from 10am to 5pm (except on closure days).
Visitors are required to use the "LeaveHomeSafe" mobile app or register personal information on site. Please be prepared in advance.
Dr. Sun Yat-sen Museum, Lei Cheng Uk Han Tomb Museum, Law Uk Folk Museum and Fireboat Alexander Grantham Exhibition Gallery are still temporarily closed until further notice.
All public programmes, except online programmes, are suspended. For updates, please check our museum website.

Inclement Weather Arrangements
- Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 or above: The Museum will be closed and remain closed if the signal is lowered less than 2 hours before the normal closing time.
- Black Rainstorm Warning Signal: If the signal is issued during normal opening hours, the Museum will remain open. If the signal is issued before opening hours, the Museum will be closed until the signal is cancelled. If the signal is cancelled less than 2 hours before the normal closing time, the Museum will remain closed.
