Collections & Services

Through acquisitions and public donations, the Museum has established a collection of over 14,000 historical pictures dating from the 1860s, which depict various facets of life in Hong Kong. The majority of the photographs show the streets and everyday life of Hong Kong before the Japanese occupation. These historical photographs are now available at our Resource Centre for public viewing and reference. For enquiries and making appointments, please contact our Resource Centre at 2724 9009 or 2724 9033.
